I cannot change the sense of entitlement in our generation. I cannot change the fact that members of generation Y feel that they are right. I can only suggest that quit asking for things for yourself, and satart doing things for someone else.

Rights or Entitlements?

What is the difference between rights and entitlements? A free society must recognize the difference. Legitime rigths can be acted on by individuals without the assistance of govermentand without forcibly interfering with other individuals . Entitlements cannot be fullfilled except through specific goverment actions which require forcible interference with others.

Some people recognize entitlement just as part of our culture. They do not try to change this behaviour . Politicians envision it as an avenue for transformations. The politicians increase the amount of federal financial aid. But that is not enough. Students must take this opportunity to grow as proffesionals and  person.

Another Point of View.

We are students, not costumers. We have the right to express our dipleasure if we dislike or seem  unfair something in  our class. But  that does not entilted us to want to change the way teachers give lessons or teaching programs, because we are in college to learn. We can not be lazy, we must try to complete all ours assignments.

Where I was born, we had to have good grades to enter in college, no matter if you have money or felt entitlrd, you has to exceed the goal of 95/100 points. I think that would be a good way to selecting students who were willing to work hard and fullfill asignments.

The Ego

The entitlement is the handmiden of the ego, the sign of a neglectd, malnourished soul. It sense will cross socioecomical boundaries.

Narcessistic rage may also express a fustrated sense of entitlement. Not doubt you have know people who express this sense of entitlement . If you know me, you know an entitled person.

A strong sense of wothiness prevents competence from becoming arrogance by keeping the individual focuses and basic values, and competence prevents worthiness from narcissism by requiring good feeling to be earned, not given.

How much?

Higher education became an entitlement in the mind of many. A lot of students do not agree with the increase of student tuition (around 30%). They will tray in publicuniversities, and they will save money. But they feel entitled to study in private college and pay like a public university.

How to control our Entitlement?

Everyone is entitlement, but not everyone acts like that, because many people has self-control, and will think before to create a problem, or make a mistake.

Where is the end of self-esteem , and where is the begining of entitlement? It is a confused border, and we have to be very carefully to not confuse our ideas.

We  already read different articles about entitlement, but the best way to learn about this problem is to take the survey , and then every body will know if his or her actitud is within the entitlement parameters. Honestly , I am entitlement. My score is 4.46. I have to change my acttitude.

Entitlement vs Higher education

The entitlement affect higher education in the way student feel an arrogant sense of entitlement, and they expect to have everything working for them, not matter what. In facts, many students expect rigths and privileges , but no want to do a hard work to deserve a good score.

Thomas Jefferson said "No freeway shall be debarred the use of arms." Patric Henry  said, "The great object is that every man be armed." Richard Henry Lee said, "To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms." Thomas Paine said, "Arms...discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe." But this was long time ago, our society must evolve. I thing so.

New society?

We will create a better society, is not transform this one.We have to change a lot of rules and laws. We have to change our minds, our goals, our perceptions. We have to create conditions to believe in people, not in money, or power. Citizens do not have to carry a gun to protect his family or home. Not body has to be afraid to loose his car, or stereo.

The most violent crime so far last year

On July 26, 2011 a couple of youngs were killed in cold blood, in what the autorities consider the most violent crime of 2011. All for the stunning white Mustang car that moved. The double murder took place in Miami Gardens, when a group of four African American forced the young man , Julian Soler, to leave their car at a gas station and shoting dead for no apparent reason. His girlfriend Kennia Duran also was shot  in the chest and died on way to hospital in ambulance. "They were killed for pleasure" said Rafael Suares police Department spokeman in the city of Miami Gardens in Miami metro area. It is the another side of the coin..... now what?

I am what you see, all my past brought me here and if you forget, I am
 learned , and now is my time . Change

Change has been a major part of my last three years, and learnig how to transform myself is a very important tool that helped me to survive and try to be success. Change is the only way to grow and learn. Change means  the new opportunity to create something, or become a new person.

Is Gorvernment Health Insurence a solution?

I prefer questions than answers. My teachers always give me questions and wait for answers. Ok, Is Government Health Insurence a solution for our financial health care services problems? The government will run and regulate every health care service? How government can delivery efficient and effective comprehensive health care wiht great savings and no sacrifice of jobs? I wait for your opinions.

 My second post. I do not want to write anything , I not use faceboook anymore. I not like these ways of communication, but now I live in America (American people called his country "America", and then South America, Central america , and The Caribbeans Islands becomes Asia or Africa? I do not Know). Anyway I have not any idea to write. Maybe my question is enough. In which continent we can place the Caribbeans Islands and Central America?

Drug abuse is a disease?

Drugs abuse is a disease, a chronic disease. I thing so. Because is a condition marked by a subjetive complaints, a specific history, and clinical sings and symptoms. is a chronic disease because it having a slow onset and lasting for a long period of time. Drugs dependence is a psycological and physiological state in wich a subject feel complusion to take drugs to experience its pychic effects or to avoind the discomfort of its abstenence. Certanly many person become addicted to more than one drug. Many problems comes with drugs, financial, social, legal.
